    Unless otherwise posted, the applicable state electrical license is required on all jobs, as well as  acceptable I-9 documents ie; picture ID, social security card, birth certificate or passport. Social Security cards cannot be laminated. These docs are required on the first day of employment. 

    Welders must show proof of job or school certification within the past two years

    SIGNING THE OUT-OF-WORK BOOK

    If you are coming from another Local Union, in order to sign the books, you must have a current dues receipt, travel letter and picture ID.

    You may sign the out-of-work book Monday thru Friday, between 8:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

    and 1:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.

    Confirmation is once each calendar month in person, by post card, by fax or online using the online dispatch and dues payment website here.

    Your signature is REQUIRED to confirm in person, by fax or postcard.

    NEED TO BRUSH UP ON YOUR WELDING ?

    Booth time can be purchased at Columbia Basin College in Pasco to practice welding for $50 for ten hours or $100 for 20 hours.  There is no formal instruction, but an instructor would probably offer advice when you are practicing.  Nights and afternoons are available.  Contact Chris Mitchell at 509-544-4924 and mention that you are an IBEW electrician.
