    BROTHERHOOD FUND

    EXAMINING BOARD COMMITTEE

    The Examining Board meets  every 1 - 2 months to administer the Journeyman Wireman Exam to newly organized journeyman and also to graduating apprentices each year. Board members are Doug McCauley, Sammy Colbray,Rich Carter, Marcus Burleson & J. C. Krueger.  Members are encouraged to volunteer to help with the test.

    MEMBERSHIP DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE
    The purpose of this Committee is the plan, develop and review organizing strategies and business with organizing.   The Committee meets the 4th Wednesday of each month at the Local Union office at 7:00 p.m. If you would like to get involved and partipate, please contact the hall and we will send you a friendly reminder each month.

    POLITICAL ACTION COMMITTEE
    Get involved in the Political Action Committee and learn about the issues, candidates and elected officials that are instrumental in shaping the future of organized labor and the construction industry.  It is important that we support the issues and candidates who will work for the working middle class, organized labor and support apprenticeship programs.   The group meets monthly at the hall  beginning at 6:00 p.m.

    RENEW COMMITTEE
    The mission of the Reach out and Engage Next-gen Electrical Workers - RENEW - is to inspire the next generation of IBEW workers to become active in their local unions by focusing on issues important to younger workers, providing education about the IBEW and the labor movement, and fostering relationships with members and Local Union leadership.

    SAFETY COMMITTEE
    The Safety Committee meets on a "as needed" basis at Local Union 112's office. Discussions are held on issues pertaining to the job sites and ways to get the information to the membership.   New members are always welcome.

    WOMEN'S COMMITTEE
    The Women's Committee meets  each month at various locations and times.  It is an opportunity for women in the trade to get together and discuss issues concerning them in the industry and on the job.  It is also a chance to meet and socialize with women in construction. Contact the hall and get your name on the list to receive notiifications about their meetings.
